Baking Sunday.

Last Sunday, while hubby was away for a photography thing, I was so bored at home so I decided to try a recipe that I saw on Pinterest. It was a last minute thing, so nothing extreme. I took out some Hershey's chocolate kisses and a few ingredients to make Oreo and Peanut Butter Brownie Cakes. Just prepare your brownie mix, spread peanut butter on oreos and cover with brownie mix. And it's ready to bake. It's so easy. 

All you need is a couple of ingredients.

1 box brownie mix 

A packet of Oreo

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Preheat oven 175 for 30 mins before baking.

Line a 12 muffin cup baker with paper liners.

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. For each cupcake cup spread 1 teaspoon of peanut butter over Oreo cookies.

Place oreo stacks into the cupcake lined muffin cups.

Spoon 2 tablespoons of brownie batter over oreo and let it run down the sides of the cookie.

Bake cookies and brownies for 25-30 minutes, until brownies are cooked through.

Let it cool completely then serve.

I promised my husband I will try to bake this for him one day and tadaa.. he came home smiling after smelling my brownies from outside the house.

Oh small happiness!

If you have left over brownie batter, bake separately in a separate baker tin.

I purposely put in some kisses chocolate coz I have heaps from my last trip. :)

Crafty Time

These are a few things I've completed in the past months after I got my baby. I admit I'm am a procrastinator with endless ideas but couldn't find the time to actually sit and proceed. I hope I get to rearrange my schedule and slowly squeeze some me time. Wish me luck!

A month ago, I completed my key holder and now it's already on my wall. Yay!

Two days ago, I tried baking my first batch of mini pavlova. And I succeeded. It was super yummy.

I don't have the end product with cream and fruits. Too yummy I forgot to snap a photo. 

It's good but I think I need more practice if I ever want to open my artsy cake shop. :P

And the latest..

Yesterday I completed a Despicable Me Minion Felt Keychain for hubby. He loves it. =P

It's true when people say that "You can meet thousands of people, but it only takes one to change your life forever". When God knows you're ready for the responsibility of commitment, He'll reveal the right person under the right circumstances. I am so lucky to have found my husband at the right time and that is the best feeling in the world. When you're in love with someone who is more in love with you. I have a best friend, husband, and true love, and I am lucky, they're all the same person, YOU. I know he's something special when no matter what kind of mood I’m in, he can always manage to make me smile. I believe God's plan is like a movie. All the good and bad things are arranged together for the good ending. Can't imagine life without him today. Baby, if you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.

Hubby, It is so weird not having you beside me and the lil one now but I can't wait to be with you again soon. We miss you so much. Wish you were here rubbing my belly and feeling the lil one actively kicking. True love isn’t about always being together. Its about loving each other even more each day no matter how much time you spend apart. Everyday I grow more fond of you. Even more so when you're away. Lately I started having weird cravings that is impossible to get. Most of it is from Melbourne. How how how? Clearly, my heart is still in Melbourne. The place that I call home, once upon a time.

Bunny Love

Another Awesome Baby Present.

 

Last Thursday,  hubs' friend, Edmund called up and said he has something for us.

He came over that night and brought loads of new kitchen stuff as he is moving to Melb for good.

There were 2 bags of baking stuff and kitchenware.

We were so happy w the freebies. And then came the major surprise; a Sparco baby seat.

Both of us were speechless and couldn't believe our eyes.

Why so soon? He's only leaving early Nov and the baby arrives in March '13 but he said might as well..

No doubt, this is the best baby present ever. It must be pricey!

Thanks to Uncle Ed, my baby now has a car seat.

Hubs was so happy. He said it matches with his red car.

A Birthday Shout out to My Beloved Daddy.

Happy Birthday to my dad who never seems to grow old.

Even the grey hair make you look more and more handsome each birthday.

No matter how old I am, 

No matter where I am,

No matter who I become,

No matter who I am with,

I will always be daddy's little girl.

A heart filled with never-ending love and warmest wishes to the first man I have ever loved.

I am just so grateful to Allah for giving me a dad, as wonderful, caring and understanding as you.

Although Batman is cool, to me you are way cooler than Batman. hehe :P

We celebrated his birthday in advance last weekend at Chili's, Gurney.
Just me, hubs, kakak, SaraQisya and the birthday boy.
Tried calling Zarif but no answer. He was fast asleep after a tiring family day event.
Ayah received 2 cards, a present and a surprise news. hehe
Priceless look on his face.

Last year we got him an Ipod! nano, so this year we bought him the strap!
