  • BBQ with hubby and his parents at home (Sunday night)

Wedding Frame:

Friday Grocery Shopping at Tesco:

This little boy loves going out for grocery shopping. He can sit in his stroller and talk to himself non stop. Such a happy baby. Don't grow up too fast ok.

Saturday night organizing and sorting out:

The in-laws wanted to take care of Alex for the night so we sent him to their place. Hubby and I didn't know where to go. So we went home and do our own work. I spent my time organizing my art stuff so that it is easier for me to find everything before starting my project life any further. Now that I have everything organized, it's good to go. Good to have time of my own to do the things I like. Most of my days consists of baby time; feeding, changing his nappies, carrying him around, playing and make him laugh. I enjoy every moment of it. Not complaining, but it sure feels good to get some me time for creative design. While sorting out all my stuff, I managed to snap a few photos.

Stamps and the little things.

 Laces

Flower ribbons and sequins

Sewing materials

 Some of my ribbon collections

Piles and piles of stickers yet I still go crazy every time I see pretty stickers in bookstores. =P

Alex is now on solids:

We tried feeding him with Heinz's Farley Rusk and he loves it. He finished up one whole biscuit with the help of his daddy. Not bad for a first timer. Yay, so proud of him.

Project Life Starts Now

I can sit all day in the office looking at beautiful images and creative ideas on Pinterest. It's so fun if you have the time to sit and slowly try out some creative ideas. Besides Pinterest, I also followed a few blogs on Scrapbooking and Project Life. Scrapbooking is not something new for me but I am so keen to try the new in thing now called Project Life by Becky Higgins. I could not wait to start my new journey with it. It looks so easy and neat. Been looking for it for days now and doing a little bit of a survey for her products. After searching high and low, I came across Papier website and voila, they actually carry the Project Life kit. I was so excited so I told my hubby about it. Knowing how he is with 'ceciwi-ness' of getting new stuff, he agreed to take me to Papier, The Curve. So, last night after stopping by Baby Land for Alex's milk, hubby accompanied me to Papier to look for Becky Higgins' products. I was so excited right until I saw the price. I was somewhat shocked and frustrated after looking at the price tag for each and every item. I swear, at one point, I felt like screaming and running out from the shop. Everything there was so pricey. Being the nice person, he offered to buy me the complete 4-piece beginner set for RM550. I actually told the salesgirl I will think about it and come back soon but hubby insisted to get it for me. Katanya, it's a present. Hehe So, I went crazy for a few minutes by myself deciding on the designs. Hubby didn't want to help me decide on anything at all. After purchasing, I automatically became a member with grab bag as a free gift for new member. Okay, brace yourself for this awesome present I got from Hubby. Tadaaaaa.. Can't wait to start documenting my daily happenings.

Crafty Time

These are a few things I've completed in the past months after I got my baby. I admit I'm am a procrastinator with endless ideas but couldn't find the time to actually sit and proceed. I hope I get to rearrange my schedule and slowly squeeze some me time. Wish me luck!

A month ago, I completed my key holder and now it's already on my wall. Yay!

Two days ago, I tried baking my first batch of mini pavlova. And I succeeded. It was super yummy.
I don't have the end product with cream and fruits. Too yummy I forgot to snap a photo.
It's good but I think I need more practice if I ever want to open my artsy cake shop. :P

And the latest..

Yesterday I completed a Despicable Me Minion Felt Keychain for hubby. He loves it. =P
(Finally after a decade hahaha)

Craftiness In Me.

Before my wedding in April, I turned into a craft junkie; wanting to create and decorate everything I see into something beautiful and sweet to put at my wedding. All the ideas starts pouring like rain but the only thing I couldn't find is the time to actually sit and work on it. Everything went by so quickly. Luckily I managed to squeeze some time to create the necessary ones. Here it is:

Pretty Handmade Decorated Candles

Frame for Photobooth

Large French Board for Love Notes
(I am also taking orders for French Board)

Frames and simple deco for dessert table

And 2 days ago, I completed my first felt doll. Finally!

I still need to improve on my work. But I'm giving a pat on my back, not bad for a first timer rite?
No sewing machine or any hidden talent in sewing.
Hubby's been asking me to make something for him already. hehe
He's my #1 fan! ;)
Stay tuned for my next project. :)

Hobbies and interests!

Hubby's been busy with Photography and all I hear from him these days is about photography, camera, settings, workshops, his mentor; Ming Thein and whatnot. He's obsessed and happy with it.
I don't blame him because just like me, I have my own obsession and I wouldn't like it if people condemn or do not support me especially if it's own my husband. In fact, I'm happy he's occupying his time with something good.
So, back to his current obsession.. As an awesome wife, I am very supportive of my husband's new hobby and no doubt about it, I enjoy listening to what he has to say. *wink wink*
I do follow him to photography expo-s and festival. It's nice to see people with so much passion for creative photography although most of the time I was looking for a bench or a chair to sit.
*Don't blame preggo people for this. We are not lazybums okay, we are just tired.*
Last Saturday, I accompanied hubby to Midvalley for KLPF 2012. He went crazy at the expo and I went crazy for my art stuff at Art Friend, Gardens. (Its been a while tak art retail therapy)
He got himself a new camera bag and some camera stuff. So that night, knowing how ceciwi he is and he wanted to try out his new gadgets to get ready for a photo shoot the nxt morning, I had to be his patung model for his ala-ala studio shoot. It was fun tapi penat sikit. Model pun can penat ke?
I had to stand and smile, but looking at the comfy sofa next to me, I cannot tahan. Slalu ja nak duduk.

I wanted to try a new sewing project tapi nak start from scratch,
so I bought all the materials. Saja je nak buat contoh gambar ni. Hopefully jadi.

Hubby bought this bag with very good price. Cantik kan?

Testing ala-ala studio. Can u see the comfy sofa?

Sunday was supposed to be a day of bangun lambat and relax2 but we went out early to help out my cousin with a fashion photoshoot for her new online product.
She was so eager to start up her project and asked hubs to help her with the photoshoot.
Knowing hubby, he was happy to do it. Anything for a new photography project.
Although it took us few hours to complete the whole thing, all of us had fun.

Sneak peak of the photo shoot.

More photos coming up soon from the camera.
Stay tuned.

Randomness

Hubby and I went to Paradign Mall for the first time yesterday to check it out.
I love it there. They have so many varieties of restaurants and shops.
The good thing is, it is quite near to my place.
They even have Tesco and GSC!
Now I can do all my shopping under one roof. Yeeha!
Was too busy looking here and there, I forgot to snap around.
I had Moo Cow for lunch yesterday, hubby was so jealous sampai teringin.
He was so lucky, they even have Moo Cow at Paradigm Mall.
So after dinner, I bought him his fave Pat-Poh with Raisins and Blackcurrent!
He was so happy just like a kid. Cuteness!

Oh while we were walking around, we came across a cute baby shop.
I dragged him in to survey some stuff.
If you're wondering, NO I am not preggo. Not yet!
Just happy to see baby stuff. hehe
I fell in love with Bugaboo Strollers.

Even Gwen Stefani has one. She designed the Bugaboo below to Benefit AIDS.

And if ever I get a set of twins.. This would be so cute. But dream on la Feesha.
Oh-how-I-wish..

Cantik kan? It is quite pricey compared to other brands.
Hubby said he prefers Peg-Perego - Pliko design.
According to him, it looks more comfy. haha
Pliko is half the price of Bugaboo.
Hahaha this discussion is just a random one. Nothing serious! :P

Okay, Good news.
I've started my DIY Doll House Project last night.
Yes, without a proper table. I made it!
Slowly but surely. It's not that hard afterall.
Can't wait to get off work and continue my project.

Monday Magic. Love you my hubby.

I was having a bad day yesterday with all the fuss and workloads in the office.
Stuck in the traffic jam for more than an hour and found myself an extra small side parking, etc.
Hubby promised me that he will take me out for dinner.
Yes, so sweet of him.
So, last night after helping a friend move some boxes, we had Japanese at Rakuzen, Publika.
Talking about Publika, the location is so good. It is very convenient.
They even have MPH bookstore there. Just opposite Rakuzen. Okay back to the point..
Before going to Miri the other day, I came across a diy doll house project there.
It's so cute I had to have it. (Knowing me, I love small details)
So, as a present, he got me the biggest set they have over there in MPH.
I was so happy; smiling from ear to ear.
My hubby certainly knows how to make my day.
It's not about the gift but the thought that counts.
Thank you so much baby boo. I love the present and I love u more.

I was so happy and was in the 'ceciwi' mode until I came home and open the box.
On the box, it says for kids of 10 yrs and above.
So I thought, how hard can it be right?
Untillllll... I saw the materials and the instruction manual.
To tell u the truth, I got shocked and nearly fainted when I read the instruction book.
It was friggin' hard and hubs said he will not help me at all.
It's even harder than fixing Ikea stuff. Trust me!
I wanted to cry but after looking at the picture on the box,
I convinced myself that with hard work comes great finishing product.
Chewah, just like Spiderman, "With great power, comes great responsibility".
I am sure it will look great in my room with the small details and lampu comel.
So, I am taking this challenge to complete this DIY project on my own.
Wish me luck people. I need it.
Okay, gotta finish some media releases and pink slips now.
