Hello December!

Hello December.

We meet again. This year, time seems to fly by so fast.

Alex is going to be 10 months in 5 days.

My post baby weight won't seem to go away :(

Hope it's not here to stay. (Shoosh go away please)

Life is getting pretty hectic with work and commitments.

Last weekend was Marina & Syafy's Wedding Reception. 

So hubby and I drove back to Penang without Alex.

Just a quick trip for their wedding.

Met a few friends that I haven't seen for a long time.

It was good to catch up.

A few days before, hubby got my little kiddo his walker to help him walk and now he's enjoying it so much. He can move forward, go backwards and turn around. Such a clever boy.

I am so lucky to have a sporting husband who does everything as I say. Thanks bee although I know sometimes I ask you a lot and make you do silly things. You are the best! So another round of face pampering tonight okay? he he he

Lately I've been shopping online for almost anything I can find. Saw this on the table when I came home from work and it's true, getting a package in the mail is like having small joys in life. :) Although we already have a few baby carrier (Boba, Pupsik Studio Pouch Sling and two other organic material baby carrier), I've always wanted to try the one with hip seat. Found it on Groupon with a really good deal and decided to give it a try. Still haven't got the chance to snap a photo with baby on it. Will post up pics soon.

Weekend Love

Saturday

Last weekend was my working weekend. So on Saturday, we did not do much as the weather wasn't that friendly. It was raining, so we decided to stay home and snooze until dinner. Then we went to The Bee, Publika for dinner. I had Chili Prawn Pasta and hubby got himself The Bee Burger. We also ordered nachos. Sorry I did not capture our main course but I got the nachos! Their nachos is the best!

Sunday

Hubby and I have a thing for English Breakfast. So we made a point to actually get up early on Sunday to have brunch in Bangsar. Since we've already tried Antipodean, we chose Marmalade Cafe this time. No surprise, their breakfast was actually good. Both of us had Big Fry Up. Wanted to try their Fatbaby Ice Cream but was too full by the time I'm with my big breakfast. Maybe next time. I love everything about the cafe. The pastel colors, the decorated flowers, the bright and airy space etc. If ever I open a cafe, I would so go for this concept too! :)

After brunch, it started to rain. So, we stopped by to get the yummiest soya ever. (Located in Uptown, Damansara). They have the best soya and taufu fa in town. Yay! When I was pregnant with Alex, I used to crave for this everyday. hehe

So being all sweet without baby Alex for the weekend, look what hubby did.. hehe 

Nak beli soya pun turun berdua walaupun hujan. :P

Okay enough of dating, it's baby time. Fetched baby Alexander from my in-laws' place.

He was asleep when we reached but right after he open his eyes, he was so happy to see us. Then came the sweet smile and a little happy tear wanting me to carry him in my arms.

Oh-the-small-joys! 

We played for a while before giving him his warm bath. And during dinner time, baby was super excited waiting for his aeroplane spoon with yummy homemade porridge.

Last Thursday,  hubs' friend, Edmund called up and said he has something for us.

He came over that night and brought loads of new kitchen stuff as he is moving to Melb for good.

There were 2 bags of baking stuff and kitchenware.

We were so happy w the freebies. And then came the major surprise; a Sparco baby seat.

Both of us were speechless and couldn't believe our eyes.

Why so soon? He's only leaving early Nov and the baby arrives in March '13 but he said might as well..

No doubt, this is the best baby present ever. It must be pricey!

Thanks to Uncle Ed, my baby now has a car seat.

Hubs was so happy. He said it matches with his red car.
