Madness and stay home mommy for a week.

I've been meaning to write soon but I got caught up with everyday life.
Been juggling so many things lately and couldn't find the time to actually sit or do the things I enjoy besides taking care of my baby boy.
Work - Home - Baby - Family - All-in-between

When you think life is good and well managed, you would be surprise when there's a sudden change in your routine. I went through a crazy episode a few weeks ago when my maid decided to create a sad drama to get her ass out from home. Everything was good until one fine day she decided to let me know that there was something bugging her and she has been vomiting blood with hair and sand inside. It's some kind of Pawang Black Magic shit. Thinking that we would believe her lies, she then begin her crazy never-ending story to my MiL at her office. She did mentioned about going to Johor to look for her husband before going back to Indonesia to 'berubat'. Hubby decided to send her straight to the agency and not to return to our house again after hearing her many sides of story. From A to Z, different stories going into circles eating her up.

At first I was quite sad to say goodbye coz she was good at taking care of Alex but after I went into her room to pack her stuff, I found things that wasn't supposed to be in her room and even worst, in her bag. Was pissed after discovering stuffs and long letters of her communicating with one of my neighbour's maid. All the drama she told us was just lies to get her out from our house to her husband who works in a factory in Sibu, Johor.

Of course we did not let her go so easily. She even begged us to send her to Johor to reunite with her husband. What a crazy idea. Uh-oh, not so easy makcik! She was pissed as hell coz she couldn't go as planned, she then started hurting herself to create a sad sad drama and made up stories about how she was treated at home. What bollocks. We sent her home immediately. Even got someone to escort her right until her boarding gate. hehe

We were too nice to her:
-She eats the same things we eat
-She gets her own peanut butter, jam, kaya and margarine.
-She gets to watch TV all the time
-She gets to sleep with A/C
-She gets to sleep early and wake up late
-She gets IDD phone cards all the time
-She followed us back to Penang all the time and get to stay in a good hotel
-She asked for Olay Age defying UV face cream (which I don't even buy it for myself)
-She finishes up all the desserts I made
-She gets to eat good fruits
-She got to eat McDonald's just like us
-She finishes our chocs, biscuits, pies and cakes.
(Not to 'berkira', she was living a good life here)
etc.

I thought she was different than the rest but she proved us wrong. To conclude, all maids are the same. Never ever trust them! We are still waiting for our new one. This time, we are getting a Filipino maid. Tired of Indonesian maid.

I took a week off to look after my baby and reorganize everything at home. Then my MiL took over for the weekend while we were out of town. Then Mak came over to take over the duty in order for me to go to work. Now FiL is helping out with a few trainee maids around. Can't wait for our new maid to come.

Enough about maids. Now let's move on to something fun.
I usually cook porridge or fruit/veggie puree for my lil one and for a change, I tried cooking carrot & broccoli pasta and he loves it. Not bad for a first try. Will try something else soon.

Carrot and Broccoli Pasta:
- Heinz Star Pasta
- Carrots
- Broccoli
- Milk

Everything is so easy with Beaba Babycook! This compact product functions as a steamer, blender, warmer and defroster to prepare fresh, healthy meals. The best thing is while cooking, it can also preserve their vitamins and flavors. A good buy. I would recommend this product to new parents out there.
