Colorful is the way to go.

I would die oops cry i mean; to have a colorful house like this. Colors can go a long way towards setting the mood and energy level in a room. Don't be too limited by so-called color rules.

  • Lets add some yellow to cheer up the room and lift your spirits.
  • Some red to invigorate the environment,
  • Some coral or apple green - to impart a feeling of coziness in a family room (These colors can warm up a cool room that has limited natural light)
  • Some sage green and sky blue wrap you in a calm ambience, as in a bedroom (These colors can chill a room, so they're best used when there's plenty of sunlight as a balance)
  • Some pale gray, taupe and beige, which exert a restful influence.
  • Some primary colors to set a young, playful mood.

Colors affect us.
They can lift our spirits, make us feel tense, or make us feel at peace.

Through hard times comes easy

Missing someone isn't about how long it has been since you've seen them or the amount of time since you've talked. It's about that very moment when you're doing something and wishing they were right there with you. Missing someone who is gone and someone who went away is a totally different feeling. Losing my beloved grandma has made me so strong and thus I can overcome anything including losing my love. It takes time to recover but I believe, nothing hurts more than losing my late grandma.I guess knowing that he is still well and alive makes it okay.

When you love someone, your happiness means so little to you compared to theirs. Love means to see the one you love happy although you're not in the picture.
To let go takes love.

You meet someone. He’s everything you ever wanted. You fall in love. You get to know each other, and guess what? He loves you too! Sparks are flying, and there’s magic in the air. You get along great, and as time goes by you realize how much you really have fallen for him. It seems nothing could go wrong, you’re both so in love with each other, you share everything together, you’re like an ideal couple, in every sense of the word.
Then it happened. Suddenly, you feel like it’s just not the same anymore. He’s no longer sweet, and thoughtful, and caring. He turned from being the most lovable person to practically a migraine-causing stranger. You wonder what you’ve done to cause such a change. You labor over endless assumptions and analysis just to explain why things aren’t working the way they were between the two of you. You wonder, does he still love me? You pluck up the courage to ask him, but he just shrugs and avoids giving you a definite answer. You feel more frustrated than ever. And yet, his actions are loud and clear, even though he’s not saying it to your face. The love he once had for you, is no longer there.
You try to deny it. You hope. That somehow, maybe… you’re wrong. That perhaps, he still loves you and there’s a perfectly good explanation for the way he’s been acting. You desperately want to believe that things will get better. But you know you’re not happy anymore. You cry yourself to sleep every night, trying to think of ways to save your relationship. Trying to revive a feeling that was once there but has died a natural death, trying to mend something that you know is broken beyond repair. But then you wake up, and the truth is staring you hard in the face, it’s OVER. No matter how much you try to deny it, his chapter in your life has come to an end.
So now comes the painful process of letting go. You know in your heart that you have to, that it’s the right thing to do, but you just can’t! You love him. You need him. So the natural tendency is to hold on. You tell yourself to just hold on… even though you know his heart doesn’t belong to you anymore. You come to a point where you blame yourself for what’s happening. But it’s not your fault. You need to understand that there are certain things in life that you can’t control. They need to happen because God allows them to happen.
It’s hard letting go of someone that we have loved for so long. It’s painful to watch the people we love, walk away from us. But if they want to go, we need to let them go! It’s easier said than done, but then again love is never easy. It hurts like crazy, and it hurts so bad that we feel like we’re about to bleed from so much pain. No one can truly explain how painful it is, without having experienced it themselves. It’s not easy, and it will take time. But know this and trust in this, IT WILL GET BETTER. The age old cliché, Time heals all wounds, may sound boring and repetitive, but it’s true. Letting go allows you and your partner to become the people you were meant to be. You can’t control love. You can’t force someone to stay with you, if you know they’re not happy anymore. What you can do is move on. Believe that there’s someone out there who will love you with everything that they have and in the way you deserve to be loved.
If we really and truly love someone, their happiness should mean more to us than our own. It’s called selfless love. So many lovers in the world are put to this kind of test. Ask yourself. How much do you really love him? Do you love him enough to allow him to go where he’s happy, even if it’s no longer with you? Do you love him enough to allow him to be happy without feeling revengeful or bitter? Do you love him enough to let him go?
Letting go doesn’t mean we need to GIVE UP, it just means we need to GIVE IN… give in to the TRUTH, and learn to accept the fact that we may have lost love, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be able to find it again. Maybe we just needed to love the wrong person first, before we finally love the right one. And when we finally meet the one that’s meant for us, we will know, because nothing and no one can ever take that away from us. Understand this. Only then will we be able to see the beauty of LOVE for what it really is, and appreciate the twist and turns of this journey we call LIFE.

Penny Wise, Pound Foolish / Cheapskate?

How can some people be so absofreakinglutely cheapskate but thinks they are the best of the best?

Nearly everyone has met the ultimate cheapskate in their life at some point. Someone who gets along in life spending next to nothing for things and services. Reality check: Everyone loves saving money, cutting back and reducing expenses. However, sometimes there is a tendency to focus on the wrong things while you're busy feeling good about controlling your budget & reducing little costs here and there, every once in a while you neglect the larger picture.

Here are some examples:
1. Parking and “just running in” without feeding the meter a quarter, but returning to find a parking ticket attached to your windshield.

2. Buying the least expensive clothing and shoes, but having to replace the wardrobe frequently because of poor quality.

3. Not taking your spouse out for an occasional night out only to pay for the divorce lawyers because the romance is dead.

4. Not taking your car in for a proper maintenance (including tires), then having a car wreck due to poor tires or brakes.

5. Attends a costume party but do not want to spend a dime on costumes or at least try to set the mood.

6. Expecting your employees to perform and deliver good work but are not willing to give them the pay they deserve.

7. Buying such cheap toilet paper then you end up using more than you would otherwise.

8. Underpaying employees then scrambling to handle their work when they leave for better jobs with your competitors.

9. Saving money by not going to the doctor for regular check-ups or taking the bare minimum health insurance plan, but having to pay a large sum in an emergency.

10. Paying for something and expects to get a certain amount back someday.

I don't get why some people are so stingy and cheapskate in their daily life. They rather spend their money on something stupid which does not benefit them than use the money to pay for something else which is worth the cent. I came across quite a few people in this category and I find it amusing to see how they want to keep their standards up but are reluctant or do not want to spend any dime on certain important things in life. These narrow-minded people thinks that by doing so, they lose their money. They think they can escape the public perspective on things but the question is, how long can they get away with this?

Stingy and Cheapskate definition:
Stingy is careful with money; being greedy.

Cheapskate is someone who's worse: doesn't tip, gives the worst presents, expects more of people etc.

It would be interesting to get some replies on this topic. Ok here we go!

Letting Go

To "let go" means not to worry about the future, but look forward to what might happen.
To "let go" does not mean to stop caring, it means I can't do it for someone else.
To "let go" is not to cut myself off, it's the realisation I can't control another.
To "let go" is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To "let go" is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To "let go" is not try to change or blame another, it's to make the most of myself.
To "let go" is not to care for, but to care about.
To "let go" is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To "let go" is not to judge, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To "let go" is not to be protective, it's to permit another to face reality.
To "let go" is not to deny, but to accept.
To "let go" is not to intrude, worry or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.
To "let go" is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.
To "let go" is to fear less, and love more.

Don't Hate, Appreciate!

"You may not be her first, her last or her only. She loved before, she may love again. But if she loves you now, if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad and miss her when she's not there".

Ideas and Creative Design!

In further attempt to procrastinate my endless work, I came across a brilliant idea of turning half of my room space to a fun and colorful scrapbook space. I did some research on scrapbook rooms on google and came up with some amazing photos. Its making me go crazy with all the ideas on my mind. And now after looking at those photos, I am just lustful that I don't have enough space to decorate the way I want to. But its okay, I'll find some way to make it look good. Yup yup.

Every scrapbooker wants a room like this. With the touch of sweetness, creativity, fun, colourful and neatness, this could bring out the perfect mood & generate lovely creative ideas! Just look at the arrangement and the storage. It's like being in a scrapbook heaven. Don't you think so? I am in loveeeeee loveeeeee loveeeeee. ♡♥♡♥

Luck was not on my side but I'm not complaining. ;)

Many people avoid entering contests because they feel that they'll never really win. However, luck is only the smallest and least important part of winning fantastic prizes. To consistently win in a competition, you really need the Three P's - Patience, Perseverance, and a Positive Attitude. Although I've entered many of the competitions in the past, I've never been lucky enough to win anything, even in the lucky draws my number gets nowhere near. Oh wait, maybe I have won once in a 'stylish dress-up' contest during my school prom but I don't think its counted. Haha Okay, back to the topic.

This morning, CST Production & Lynda Rahim Kuala Lumpur announced the result of What's Hot Is Getting Hotter contest and as expected, I wasn't the lucky one. But, I'm not gonna complain. Maybe it's just not my luck. I believe that maybe there's something better waiting for me. Well, they say that good things come to those who wait, and while we found that to be true we also sense that better things may come to those who wait longer and try harder.
A lot seems to be heartbreaking nowadays, but I choose to smile for I know there's some things that's gonna be alright. Although I am not the chosen one, I am glad I got to share my dreams with others and knowing that they could relate to my story itself is good enough to me. Winning isn't everything. Deep down I know I'm a winner and I'm proud of myself for even trying. Bravo Feesha! To everyone who feel the same as me, don't ever give up because winners don't quit, quitters don't win. Whatever happens, we need to face it with an open mind and try our best. I believe that one day, my time will come and when the time comes, it will remain that way forever!

I was born to win, but to be a winner, I must plan to win, prepare to win and expect to win. But expectations could also lead to giant disappointment. If you can't accept losing, you can't win.
Winning is not everything, but the effort to win is. That's what learning is, after all; not whether we lose the game, but how we lose and how we've changed because of it and what we take away from it that we never had before, to apply to other games. Losing, in a curious way, is winning.

The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don't define them, learn about them, or even seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Remember, success in not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts. So, never ever give up!
